The Galveston Bay Estuary Program was created in 1989 and has worked to provide comprehensive ecosystem management through collaborative partnerships and to ensure preservation of the bay’s multiple uses. The estuary program has a duty to provide resources for stakeholders and partners working in the watershed. These resources are materials that guide or are products of the estuary program’s work.
